MIT Develops New Pavement-Vehicle-Interaction Test

A new pavement-vehicle-interaction test developed by the MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub (CSH) measures fuel savings, and shows that road stiffness makes an enormous difference for 40-ton trucks, with up to 4 percent gas mileage savings on concrete roads.
