The American Association of Port Authorities says its member ports intend to spend over $150 billion in infrastructure investments by 2020, contrasted with a "best-case" government investment in port-related freight infrastructure of only $25 billion. The association's president and CEO, Kurt Nagle, suggested that this ratio should change.
